The PeLTQL (Pediatric Liver Transplant Quality of Life) Questionnaire is a tool which was designed for patients between the ages of  eight and 18 years. The PeLTQL was created to assess the quality of life of patients who received a liver transplant as an infant or child.

The PeLTQL questionnaire measures both the patient and parent’s  views about the paediatric liver transplant recipient’s health-related quality of life with regard to emotional and psychological functioning, social functioning, physical health, current treatments and interventions, and future health status. It is both a useful proxy and self-report measure of health- related quality of life of children who have received a liver transplant.

The PeLTQL is available to both clinicians and clinical researchers committed to optimizing the outcomes for children who undergo liver transplantation. The PeLTQL is currently  available in English, and is in the process of being translated into Spanish, Italian, Polish, French, Hindi, Japanese, and Chinese for broader reach towards our mission of optimizing outcomes for children who undergo liver transplantation worldwide.
